My mother is terminal so my brother and I are taking care of her here at home until she passes away.
Playing out is on hold for now.
I will be back playing out when the dust settles.

On Wed.July 2nd I performed at Beaks open mic night.
One of the owner's,Jamie, takes the time to listen to some of the performers.
Jamie also jams on drums with a few.
A real cool place!

I played an open mic at Beaks in downtown St.Petersburg last night.
Great bunch of very professional players.
Very attentative audience as well.
I am going back next week!

The open mic at Fish Tale's was a blast.
I got to play 5 songs and meet some old friends and a few new ones.
Going to do it again next week.

I listened to Rob Tyre on Tuesday night and was mesmerized/captivated from the first note that Rob played.
Rob is a wolrd class entertainer/musician that needs to be nationally recognized.

I am going to a private party tomorrow where my friends North 2 South will be playing.
Sunday is the Just Plain Folks showcase that I emcee in Safety Harbor at the whistle stop grill.

I just added some new pictures and links.
Blondie is a custom quilted maple guitar with a P90 in the neck and a humbucker in the bridge.
With the push/pull knobs I can get just about any sound I want out of her.
